Khost Wins the Title of the First Edition of WAK Grade 1 Provincial T20 Tournament

According to the Afghanistan Cricket Board’s domestic cricket schedule, the Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Grade 1 Provincial T20 Tournament, which began on February 3 this year, hosted by Kandahar and Nangarhar provinces, concluded today with the Khost team winning the championship title.

In the ongoing Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Grade 1 Provincial T20 Tournament, two matches were played today. In Kandahar, Khost-B defeated Nangarhar in a Super Over, while at the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Ground in Nangarhar, Nangarhar-B beat Paktika by 40 runs.

As part of the Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Grade 1 Provincial T20 Tournament, four matches were scheduled to be played today. However, due to heavy rainfall in Kandahar, the matches between Chairman-XI vs Kandahar-A, and Khost-B vs Nangarhar were postponed. Meanwhile, at Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Ground in Nangarhar, ACB-XI defeated Domestic-XI by 5 wickets, and at Najibullah Tarakai Cricket Ground in Nangarhar, Kabul-A defeated Nangarhar B by 9 wickets.
